VetScript adds a digital prescribing workflow to the practice software your clinic already uses. You create an eScript inside your PiMS, with the patient and medication details pre-filled.
From there, you have two options:
Send it securely to a VetScript-authorised pharmacy yourself, or
Send an eScript token to the animal owner so they can choose where to fill it.
When you send it to a pharmacy, the pharmacy receives the script instantly and dispenses the medication, either sending it to your clinic or delivering it to the animal owner.
When you send the token to the animal owner, they receive it by email or SMS and can use it to fill their script at a VetScript-authorised pharmacy. Either way, every script is saved back to the patient record, giving you a complete, traceable history.
In short:
You create the eScript from within your PiMS
You either send it to a VetScript-authorised pharmacy, or send an eScript token to the animal owner to choose where to fill it
A VetScript-authorised pharmacy receives it securely and dispenses
The medication reaches your clinic or the animal owner
The script is recorded automatically for tracking and traceability
